Last year we were looking for someone in the BVI to care for our boat. We spend two months per year in the islands and need someone to tend to her in our absence. I have been a client of B+G since 2013. When I purchased a Beneteau 411 Oceanis I was completely new to Caribbean sailing with a 2002 former charter boat that took needed some TLC. Todd and his crew transformed the boat over that summer into a second home for my family and friends, until Hurricane Irma transformed her to a total loss. Saying good bye to a home unexpectedly was softened by the compassion and patience Todd, Raju and Tamara provided in the months after Irma. I relied upon them to help me salvage my belongings and arrange for transfer to a new (to me) Oceanis 411 in the Chesapeake. Todd's approval of the replacement yacht was critical throughout my decision-making and negotiations throughout the survey and purchase process. In summer 2018 I will start a new adventure in US government service while living aboard her in Washington DC. As soon as my government sortie is completed I intend to have The Institute (2.0) sailed back to B+G in Tortola to bring her to back to full glory and continue the voyage.

B+G Yacht Management is an excellent partner for any level of boater. As a relative newcomer to boating in the BVI, and a power boat vs a sail boat, we were somewhat of an outlier. After we, like so many, were hit by IRMA, the first five months passed and almost nothing happened until we commissioned B+G Management to take care of our boat and the necessary repairs that everything ran like clockwork. So far this has been the best experience with repairs in our sailing life.
