B&G Yacht Management, known for their attention to detail and superior customer service, proudly announce the addition of two new service lines to their offering: metal machining/fabrication and welding, and shipwright services. B&G’s expanded operation has rebranded as B&G Marine Services, and will continue to operate from their convenient Nanny Cay location.

B&G clients can expect the same high-quality work across all service lines, with even stricter adherence to schedules and cost estimates than before as a result of bringing metal- and wood-working in-house.

Todd Patterson, Managing Director of B&G, said: “We are constantly working to make B&G better: better than yesterday and the day before, and better for our clients. For this 2018-2019 season, that meant taking control of machining, welding and woodworking, services which we had previously had to subcontract away from B&G. Our clients are now receiving an even better finished product, whether that be fabricating a custom mount for a new radar, repairing a wooden handrail for a companionway, or a full-scale refit project.”

This exciting expansion would not be possible without the hard work and dedication of the entire B&G team, which has also expanded to include:

Ravindra Sukhu, Lead Machinist – Ravi is from Guyana, but has been in the BVI for the past 15 years. He is an exceptionally talented machinist, and has considerable experience in boat repair, particularly structural and aesthetic aspects.

Wyatt Lawrence, Lead Shipwright – Wyatt is a “newbie” to the BVI, having recently moved from New Brunswick, Canada. He is professionally trained, and incredibly skilled, in boatbuilding (20+ years’ experience!), and has led boatbuilding courses at both the WoodenBoat School in Maine and the Maritime Museum of the Atlantic in Nova Scotia.
